VeriFacts Salutes Ford for
New Mustang Sectioning Guidelines
Newport Beach, CA, October
17, 2008 —VeriFacts Automotive, LLC announced today
that Ford Motor Company has responded to its request for sectioning
guidelines for the new Mustang. VeriFacts had submitted to Ford
field observations and photos of damage and attempted repairs being
done on the Mustang rear rails. This included many vehicles that
had either been totaled or had undergone an intrusive repair requiring
the replacement of the entire rear rails.
“Ford’s responsiveness is a win for everyone”
said Farzam Afshar, President and CEO of VeriFacts. “Fewer
of these popular vehicles are being totaled, fewer need highly intrusive
repairs, the vehicles are being fixed more quickly and the costs
are less. We salute Ford for taking this action so quickly.”
